Schedule: Once a week in the Morning Primary Program; daily if staying for the Optional Afternoon Program
Every week, your child will spend one morning in the garden rather than the classroom. In the year round garden classroom, the children learn about their natural environment through observation and discovery. Through hands-on activities and exploration the children learn to care for garden, they learn about life cycles, and planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables. Our beautiful garden environment provides an outdoor classroom that both extends and enhances the children’s learning at SAMS.
Whether in the classroom or the garden, students are observed and gently guided by SAMS highly trained teachers who focus on each child’s individual developmental needs.
If staying for the optional afternoon program, children have more time in the garden.
